Kiloh Smith & Anne Daniels Visit Tumacácori Mission In Southern Arizona

Kiloh Smith and Anne Daniels recently visited Tumacácori Mission, just above Nogales, in Southern Arizona. The first mission was established by Jesuit Eusebio Francisco Kino and his followers in 1691. Tumacácori is in the Santa Cruz River valley. The Missionaries encountered O’odham, Yaqui, and Apache people.

We were coming back from a trip to Mexico and decided to stop. Boy we glad that we did! The mission building is in disrepair but not a ruinous state. Inside it is cool and shady. I shot the below video with my GoPro camera.
